Under Article 1-1, II of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN), as amended by Law No. 2024-449 of 21 May 2024, the publisher, a natural person publishing this online public communication service on a non-professional basis, has chosen to remain anonymous to the public. The publisher’s identification details have been provided to the site’s hosting provider, which is bound by professional secrecy with respect to them. That secrecy cannot be invoked against the judicial authorities.

4. Purpose of the site

eco3min.fr is an information, analysis and educational service covering macroeconomics, financial markets, monetary policy and investment topics. The content published (articles, studies, datasets, charts, Q&A pages, tools) is strictly informational, educational and journalistic in nature.

The site publishes macro-financial data series drawn from public and institutional sources (including Federal Reserve Economic Data, the European Central Bank and other public bodies), for illustration and analysis.

5. No investment advice

Content published on eco3min.fr is general and impersonal. It does not in any way constitute:

• investment advice within the meaning of Articles L. 321-1 and L. 541-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code;
• a personalized recommendation or wealth management advice suited to an individual situation;
• banking or financial solicitation within the meaning of Article L. 341-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code;
• an investment recommendation within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 on market abuse;
• an inducement, solicitation or offer to buy, sell, subscribe to or hold any financial instrument;
• promotional financial analysis.

No content on the site takes into account the investment objectives, financial situation or needs of any particular reader. Past performance and the historical data presented are no guide to future performance. All investment carries a risk of capital loss.

Each reader remains solely responsible for their decisions and their consequences. Before any transaction, it is up to the reader to carry out their own analysis and, where appropriate, to consult a qualified professional (a financial investment adviser registered with ORIAS, an authorized investment services provider, a bank adviser or a wealth management adviser).

The indicators, thresholds, historical signals, macroeconomic regime classifications, scenarios and simulator outputs published on the site describe past data or explicit assumptions. They are neither forecasts, nor buy or sell signals, nor an inducement to act.

6. Status of the publisher

eco3min.fr is an information service and carries out no regulated activity. The publisher is neither registered with nor authorized by the French financial markets authority (Autorité des marchés financiers, AMF), does not hold the status of financial investment adviser (CIF) or investment services provider (PSI), and provides no investment service. The site receives no compensation for promoting any specific financial instrument.

As of the last update of this legal notice, the site is funded by its publisher: it carries no advertising, no affiliate links and no sponsored content. Should this change, it will be stated here and on the content concerned.

7. Intellectual property

The texts and analyses published on eco3min.fr are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). They may be reproduced, adapted and redistributed, including for commercial purposes, provided that Eco3min is credited, a link to the license is given and any changes are indicated. Citation formats are available on the How to cite Eco3min page.

Data, files and charts remain subject to their producer’s terms, stated on each page. The public data underlying the series published remain the property of their respective producers (Federal Reserve / FRED, European Central Bank, etc.); eco3min.fr claims no rights over this raw data and grants no licence over third-party data.

The other elements of the site (name, logo, graphic design, visual identity, code and structure, the latter protected where applicable by the database producers’ right under Articles L. 341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code) may not be reproduced without the publisher’s prior written authorization, except within the limits permitted by law.

The CC BY 4.0 license does not extend to third-party material reproduced on the site (quotations, extracts, trademarks, logos, third-party images and data), which remains subject to the rights of its owners. Any reuse is the reuser’s responsibility and must not suggest that Eco3min endorses it or vouches for its accuracy.

8. Personal data and cookies

The data controller is the site publisher, who can be reached at [email protected]. The personal data processed on eco3min.fr (newsletter, alerts, audience measurement, contact messages), the purposes, legal bases, retention periods and the rights of data subjects are described in the privacy policy. 9. Liability

The publisher endeavors to provide accurate, verified and up-to-date information from sources it considers reliable. It cannot, however, guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or relevance of the information provided, nor the absence of errors or omissions.

Content is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for:

• the interpretation or use made of the information published;

Data, charts and tools. The series, downloadable files (CSV, XLSX), charts, calculated indicators and simulators are produced by automated processing of third-party sources cited on each page. They may contain errors, update delays or discrepancies with the source, in particular when the producer revises its data after publication. Series calculated by Eco3min (ratios, composites, real series) follow Eco3min’s own method and are no substitute for official data. Simulator outputs are illustrative. Before using any figure for a decision, a publication or a calculation, it is up to the user to check it against the primary source indicated. Errors reported to [email protected] are reviewed and corrected where necessary.

Regulated and tax values. The rates, indices, caps and brackets with legal effect cited on the site (such as usury rates, rent indices, minimum wages, regulated savings rates and tax rules) are set by official decision and apply according to individual circumstances. Only their official publication in force on the relevant date is authoritative (Journal officiel, INSEE, Banque de France, tax authorities or their foreign equivalents).

Dated content. Each piece of content reflects the state of the data, the law and knowledge at its date of publication or last update. It is not necessarily updated afterwards.

The site may contain links to third-party websites. The publisher has no control over these sites and accepts no responsibility for their content, practices or availability.

11. Governing law

This legal notice is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or application falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

12. Changes

The publisher may amend this legal notice at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the site on the date it is consulted.
